Looking for things to do ? There’s a great selection of tours and trips organised by the hostel, we had a fantastic time in the Temezcal. Staff are friendly and helpful caring and kind, I’d highly recommend staying here if you are at lake atitlan.
For our visit in San Juan La Laguna we were looking for an eco friendly accommodation with a nice surrounding and then Eco Hotel MayAchik’ is spot on. Not only the cabins and garden settings are giving you a pleasant and natural feeling. The friendly staff makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. On top of that it’s running a splendid vegetarian restaurant where we enjoyed some delicious meals during our stay.
… Next time we are in Guatemala we would definitely spend more time here and enjoy this hospitality a few days longer.
It’s located in picturesque settings within walkable distance from the San Juan La Laguna. This hotel one of the Softest and most comfy bed I ever slept on. The hotel also has an awesome sauna to relax, and environmentally friendly bio compostable toilet. They arranged tours of local weaving community, and also a guide and trekking to watch sunrise from the Indian Nose mountain. I stayed there just for one night due to tight travel schedule but I wish I could stay longer. Highly recommend this hotel.
